Nate Massa, junior in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, is working in the lab for the summer. He updated our informational poster (hangs outside the lab) on the NOAA tall tower in West Branch, Iowa. Over 60 long-lived atmospheric trace gases and trace gas isotopes are monitored there. We help out with the simple stuff, like getting samples to/from in 3 foot snow drifts and 25 below wind chill.
