Professor of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering

25+ years of experience in industry and academia / chemical & environmental engineering with energy, aerosol, air quality, and climate applications. After over two fulfilling decades at the University of Iowa, I decided to wind down my laboratory and shift my efforts to clean energy and sustainability full-time. I joined CLEAResult as an Industrial Decarbonization Engineer in October 2025. I continue to collaborate with faculty, staff, and graduate students at the University of Iowa through ongoing mentorship and peer-reviewed scholarship.
