New paper accepted at ES&T

Led by Chris Brunet of Heri Hornbuckle's research group, this paper summarizes the VMS measurements from the rooftop field campaign in summer 2022 at CUNY in Manhattan, specifically in Harlem. The title is "Concentrations of Volatile Methyl Siloxanes in New York City Reflect Emissions from Personal Care and Industrial Use"

This paper, led by Jeewani Meepage in Betsy Stone's group, looks at the series of siloxanol aerosols formed from oxidation of decamethylpentasiloxane (D5), a common ingredient in personal care products. Samples from New York City ambient air are compared to laboratory oxidation products.
